Helpful Information on Integrated Televisions

Welcome

Welcome to TVIntegrated.Com.  Integrated televisions have been a recent phenomenon.  As computer and electronic technology has gotten faster and smaller, televisions have shrunk from the old tube televisions of yesterday to the sleek flatscreen TVs of today.

But what is the big deal about integrated tvs?  I’m sure there are those among us who remember having to hook up several devices to our TV sets in order to get the most of our TV viewing pleasure.  With the advancement of technology, many of those features you needed a second unit for are integrated within our TVs.

The first integrated tvs had am/fm radios, clocks, VCRs, and other simple electronic devices within them.  As technology progressed, designers started integrating other important devices, such as cable decoders, DVD players, and advanced sound systems.  One of the most important integrated devices was when the FCC made all TV stations broadcast in a digital format, making analog TVs no longer adequate for typical use.  Even though this became a problem only for those who used antennas for their TV reception, it left you with the option to either subscribe to a cable TV or Satellite TV provider, or purchase a digital converter box.  TV manufacturers started to make this digital converter an integrated part of each television set to accommodate this change in regulation.

Nowadays, TVs have come a long way.  They pretty much are computers.  Using the term “Smart TV”, they are integrated to connect with theintegrated tv internet.  Smart TVs can surf the web, show Youtube clips, and subscribers to Hulu and Netflix can watch TV shows right in their living room without the aid of a laptop.  TVs have definitely come a long way, baby.
